Maggie's Centre at Cheltenham is a warm welcoming place, very close to Cheltenham Oncology Centre. We are here to support anyone affected by cancer, including family and friends. At our Centre you can meet people who are experiencing similar things to you as well as get advice and support from experienced professionals, including Cancer Support Specialists, Benefits Advisor, Counsellor and Clinical Psychologist. We offer a wide range of support including cancer specific support groups; cancer treatment information; one to one emotional support: help with money worries; relaxation and stress management; nordic walking; yoga; fitness classes; tai chi; look good feel better sessions; dietary advice; support for families and friends; bereavement support; art classes: creative writing. Sometimes people come to Maggie's to have time alone, in a safe calm space. Maggie's is designed to help at any stage of cancer, as and when you need it and everything is free! Although Maggie's Centre is open, during the Covid 19 pandemic, our service is more limited. We continue to support people over the phone, through video links and are running several of our usual groups and courses on Zoom. We are also seeing some people face to face inside and outside the Centre, taking all safety precautions and following guidance. Although people can usually drop in anytime, at the moment we are encouraging people to get in touch with us before they visit, either by phone, email or on social media, and we can discuss when might be best to visit or support you in other ways. You will always find a warm welcome. For more information please feel free to get in touch with us using any of the contact details below.
